New Director of Client Services

 

In January, we continued to execute our plan to attract great talent by welcoming Chris McKibbin to the CommerceTel team.

 

Chris picChris comes to us with more than six years in the Mobile Marketing industry. He is responsible for all client services activities including professional services, campaign creation, and ongoing support.

 
Prior to joining CommerceTel, Chris worked with SMS.ac, Soapbox Mobile, and Topcoder Software where he was responsible for client acquisition, client retention, and developing ongoing revenue streams from the client base. Chris holds a degree in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

 

We welcome Chris to the team and we look forward to his contributions in driving CommerceTel to the next level of performance and customer satisfaction.

The wireless industry held its Annual Meeting in April in Las Vegas and CommerceTel hosted an informative panel of entertainment business executives. The panelists discussed the successes they have had and the challenges they face in adopting mobile as an interactive communications medium.  Chip Canter of NBC, Chris Phenner of Thumbplay, and Tony Huider of Universal Music all stated that mobile marketing was an important element in their digital strategies.  "It's all about impressions," said Phenner.  The panelists mentioned that IVR is an important component to the mobile mix. "IVR is a complement to the mobile strategies we are employing," Chip Canter said. "We would look to do even more in the future."  The attendees benefited from the insight of these executives and CommerceTel appreciated the support of all who attended.
