CommerceTel Helps NPR Reach Its Listeners with Multi-Channel Flexibility

CommerceTel is providing a simple-to-use interface which manages content delivery to users of the new NPR Mobile service from both local phone numbers and NPR's mobile website (http://m.npr.org). Using CommerceTel's proprietary platform, NPR Mobile listeners are able to easily access local and national audio content from their mobile devices including NPR Hourly Newscasts, the participating local NPR Member stations' news updates and NPR features such as "Story of the Day" and "Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me! Guest of the Week."

The platform also permits users to support the Member stations through a mobile credit card processing system and enables them to call stations directly to begin membership.
