CommerceTel Combines Voice and IVR with Sybase 365 Messaging Services

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – November 11, 2009 - A partnership has been announced between CommerceTel and Sybase 365 to offer CommerceTel’s C4 Voice platform and development tools for mobile solutions delivered by Sybase 365.

Brands, marketers, content owners, and enterprises can leverage this strategic relationship and include voice-based interfaces with their mobile initiatives. Exciting new mobile interactions can be conceptualized and delivered through the combination of Sybase 365 mobile messaging services and CommerceTel voice-based mobile technology.

Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) are powerful interfaces for enabling consumer participation in mobile campaigns. For example, voice interfaces can provide an audience a familiar way to interact with content via the ease of dialing a phone number.
